Manchester United look set to complete a second summer signing but the attention may soon turn to offloading players to bring in much-needed funds.
Ineos wanted to bring real change to Old Trafford but that didn’t mean that Manchester United would be splashing the cash.
United had to spend carefully this summer and a first signing arrived on Sunday.
Netherlands striker Joshua Zirkzee completed his move from Bologna after weeks of speculation.
United continue to chase more signings and another deal appears to be close just days after Zirkzee’s arrival.
Reports suggest that Lille wonderkid Leny Yoro is on the verge of joining United having travelled for a medical on Wednesday.
This is a hugely exciting deal, worth up to £52million, and Yoro appears to be on the verge of becoming signing number two this summer.
Manchester United expect Aaron Wan-Bissaka offers
That will take United’s summer outlay towards £100million and some sales may now need to be completed in order to unlock further incoming deals.
One player who could move on and bring in valuable funds is right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
TalkSPORT claim that West Ham United are now in advanced talks to sign Wan-Bissaka this summer.
Wan-Bissaka hails from London and a return to the capital may appeal after five years in Manchester.
Intriguingly though, The Telegraph suggest that United expect even more ‘serious interest’ after West Ham made their move.
United feel that a number of Premier League clubs will now come forward with moves for Wan-Bissaka.
The 26-year-old has just one year left on his contract and this seems to be the perfect time to cash in.
Turkish duo Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are also interested in Wan-Bissaka though, meaning there could be offers even away from the Premier League.
United clearly expect the race for Wan-Bissaka to heat up now, potentially leaving West Ham in a real battle for for his signature.

Wan-Bissaka exit makes sense
United invested big money in Wan-Bissaka, paying £50million to lure him away from Crystal Palace.
A solid one-v-one defender, Wan-Bissaka just hasn’t managed to develop his game going forward, meaning Diogo Dalot has now pulled clear of him as United’s first-choice right back.
It’s difficult to imagine that Wan-Bissaka will now push on and displace Dalot and with just one year left on his deal, the writing is on the wall.
Wan-Bissaka needs to go and play games regularly, especially with Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier coming towards the end of their England careers.
Maybe Wan-Bissaka can go and thrive elsewhere and finally put himself in England contention down the line.
That just isn’t going to happen and United and whilst Wan-Bissaka’s exit would require a new signing to replace him, a cash exit is best for all parties this summer.
