Today was Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton’s funeral.
It was a day to pay respects to a charming man, an undoubted Manchester United legend and one of the greatest footballers to ever grace the earth.
Sir Bobby Charlton sadly passed away on the 21st of October 2023, with the entirety of the world mourning the iconic forward’s death.
Today was his funeral, where some prominent figures surrounding Manchester United and football came to show their respects to the late Charlton.

Thousands of fans were also present as Sir Bobby’s casket made its way passed Old Trafford.
Greatness appreciates greatness as legends pay respects to Sir Bobby
A star-studded list of names came to show their respects to Sir Bobby – but it was nothing more than he deserved.
He is one of the greatest figures in the club’s history, making the club what it is today.
Charlton was a survivor of the Munich Air Disaster in 1958, made 758 career appearances for Manchester United and scored 249 goals for the club.
United named a stand at Old Trafford after Sir Bobby Charlton and there is a statue of him outside the ground.
He is immortalised forever in Manchester and his name will live on for generations. Rest easy, Sir Bobby.
