A former Manchester United target, Jude Bellingham, is on top of the world right now, as Real Madrid prevailed in the Champions League final.
In a game where Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho featured, it was Madrid’s Jude Bellingham who managed to emerge victorious, gifting the Spanish side a record-breaking 15th Champions League title.
The England international, if he wasn’t already, has now cemented himself among the world’s hottest talents. He’s now got the highest honour in European football to back that up.
Manchester United legends have paid tribute to the 20-year-old after the victory.
David Beckham to Jude Bellingham
Iconic United winger David Beckham took to Instagram following the game’s conclusion to show his appreciation for Real Madrid’s latest megastar.
Beckham posted a topless picture of himself copying Bellingham’s trademark celebration, accompanying the image with the caption: “HEY JUDE!! What a first season. Champions.”
You can’t fault him. What a season Bellingham has had. His sheer dominance for Madrid at such a young age should be commended, and he’s going to be a world-class player for years to come.
Patrice Evra to Jude Bellingham
Similarly to Beckham, former United defender Patrice Evra also took to social media to congratulate Jude for his efforts.
The midfielder posted: “CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!! Siempre HALA MADRID,” to which Evra responded.
The world has been amazed by his meteoric rise, which is only set to continue at a ludicrous speed.
It’s still crazy to think that the Red Devils were close to signing the midfielder. Had he signed for United, his career path would definitely look a lot different, and we can’t help but think he’s better off with the footballing career he’s chosen thus far.
