Manchester United will be hoping to win the FA Youth Cup for an 11th time when Nottingham Forest come to Old Trafford next Wednesday.
Travis Binnion’s side face Forest in the final as the Reds attempt to claim an unprecedented, record-extending eleventh triumph in the prestigious competition.
The Red Devils haven’t won the FA Youth Cup since beating a Sheffield United side containing Harry Maguire in 2011.

Sam Johnstone
The England international never made his debut for the United first team and embarked on several loan spells in the Football League.
Johnstone’s West Brom contract expires at the end of June and he has been linked with a move back to Old Trafford as a free agent.
The 29-year-old joined the Baggies on a permanent deal four years ago and has had one season being a number one stopper in the Premier League.
Michael Keane
Keane made his senior Manchester United debut in the EFL Cup as a substitute against Aldershot in 2011 under Sir Alex Ferguson.
The centre-back made five first team appearances for the Red Devils, the last of which came under Louis van Gaal in the embarrassing 4-0 defeat at MK Dons in 2014.
After making his loan move at Burnley permanent, the 12-time England international had one season in the Premier League at Turf Moor before being signed by Everton for a fee that could rise to £30m.
The Toffees are currently battling for their lives in the Premier League under Frank Lampard.
Tom Thorpe
Captain of the 2011 Youth Cup winning side, Thorpe made one appearance for the United first team which came as a 94th-minute substitute against West Ham in the Premier League under Van Gaal in September 2014.
The one-time England Under-21 international joined Rotherham on a free transfer in July 2015 and had a loan spell at Bolton before heading to India in September 2017.
Thorpe has been without a club since leaving ATK in July 2018.
Michele Fornasier
The Italian may not have made a Premier League appearance but he does 32 Serie A appearances to his name.
The 28-year-old has played in the Italian top-flight for Sampdoria, who he joined after leaving Manchester in 2013 and Pescara.
He’s currently playing in Serie C for Monopoli.
Sean McGinty
McGinty is currently the captain of Scottish Championship side Ayr United after moving to the club last summer from Morton.
Following several Football League moves, the 28-year-old made the move up north in July 2018.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has primarily played at centre-back throughout his senior professional career.
Paul Pogba
A year after winning the Youth Cup with the Reds, the highly-rated Frenchman left on a free transfer to join Italian giants Juventus.
After four years in Italy, Manchester United signed the World Cup winner for a world-record £89m under Jose Mourinho.
United’s number six looks set to leave the club on a free transfer for the second time in his career with his contract expiring at the end of June.
Ryan Tunnicliffe
The midfielder has three Premier League appearances to his name which came during his time at Fulham.
Having played 256 Championship matches, the 29-year-old is currently playing for Portsmouth after joining Pompey on a free transfer last summer following his exit from Luton Town.
Jesse Lingard
Like Pogba, the England international looks set to walk away from Old Trafford as a free agent at the end of the season.
United’s number 14 didn’t have the chance to say goodbye to the Theatre of Dreams faithful after being an unused substitute in the 3-0 win against Brentford.
Lingard’s omission didn’t go down well with his brother and the 29-year-old will be hoping to secure regular first team football and rekindle the form he showed during his loan spell at West Ham last season.
Ravel Morrison
One of Manchester United’s most talented academy graduates, the Jamaican international is flourishing playing under Wayne Rooney at Derby County.
It’s took a lot of moves for the attacking midfielder to finally find a place where he can seemingly settle and shine.
Since leaving United in January 2012, Morrison has played in Italy, Mexico, Sweden and Netherlands.
Gyliano van Velzen
The speedy winger left Manchester United in August 2013 to join Utrecht which came after a short loan spell at Royal Antwerp.
Having had short spells with Crawley Town and Aldershot, Van Velzen is back in his native Netherlands, playing for SC Telstar where he has scored eight goals from 62 appearances.
Will Keane
The striker made three first team appearances for United, but it’s at Wigan Athletic where Keane has showcased his goalscoring prowess.
The 29-year-old joined the Latics for the second time in his career in October 2020, following a short loan spell at the club in 2013/14, during his time at Manchester United.
His 26 goals this season have propelled Wigan back up to the Championship and he is currently League One’s top scorer.
