For once, Manchester United are moving quickly in the transfer market and they now have an opportunity to re-visit an eye-catching deal.

The Red Devils have already secured the signature of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro’s arrival at Old Trafford is imminent.

The 18-year-old centre-back is set to complete his transfer to Manchester United after completing the first part of his medical.

United beat Real Madrid to Yoro in what is a statement signing for new owners Ineos, and to make the deal even sweeter Yoro was a prime target for Liverpool this summer.

The new-look recruitment team at Old Trafford can now turn their attention towards the next deal of the summer and there is a golden opportunity to reignite interest in a previous target.

Next up for Manchester United after Leny Yoro

Manchester United are expecting serious interest in Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Premier League clubs this summer.

TalkSPORT claim that West Ham United are now in advanced talks to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

As Wan-Bissaka inches closer to an exit this summer, there is a growing need for United to sign a new right-back this summer – thankfully, they have already identified the perfect target.

The Red Devils have previously shown an interest in signing Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong and Fabrizio Romano revealed last year that he was keen on a move to Old Trafford.

German outlet Bild report that Frimpong’s transfer fee will soon be negotiable with his £33million release clause set to expire at the end of the week.

Jeremie Frimpong ticks all the right boxes

If being a young, promising, attacking full-back wasn’t enough to already convince Erik ten Hag to sign Frimpong – he’s also Dutch.

He was a standout performer during Bayer Leverkusen’s record-breaking campaign last season with 14 goals and 12 assists in all competitions.

Frimpong would also add extra depth to United’s right wing after playing there on several occasions last season.

He is the polar opposite to the defensively-minded Wan-Bissaka but he ticks all the necessary boxes that United are looking for.
