Erik ten Hag will be eager for his Manchester United side to put in a better display in their second game of the summer after they slipped to defeat against Rosenborg on Monday.
It was only a 1-0 loss via a 93rd-minute winner but the manager did not let his players off easily and criticised them for playing ‘below standards.’

Team news
United will still be lacking the bulk of their first-team stars as the majority of them are enjoying some well-earned time off after competing at Euro 2024 or Copa America.
However, Ten Hag could see his squad increased after Scott McTominay returned to training this past week while Harry Maguire has stepped up his return to fitness.
Andre Onana, Jadon Sancho and Amad did not play in Norway but could also be involved after training this week.
United also have Marcus Rashford, Mason Mount, Casemiro, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jonny Evans available while youngsters like Ethan Wheatley, Harry Amass and Toby Collyer will be hoping for more chances to impress.
It’s unlikely that new signing Leny Yoro will be involved to make his debut after completing his move from Lille on Thursday. Fellow new signing Joshua Zirkzee is still on his holidays.
Prediction
With boosts in key areas looking likely and United having a much stronger team, a better performance and even a win can be expected in the Scottish capital.
Rangers did put up a good showing in their first friendly against Ajax but ultimately lost 2-1 to the Dutch side and United are a much tougher proposition.
