How Manchester United fans have reacted to Kai Rooney clip

The talent of Kai Rooney continues to amaze supporters of United, with his ability looking likely to place him among the best talents at the club in the next few years.

Now, his latest training clip has shown off some remarkable finishing skills, something which has left United fans reacting.

After seeing the clip, multiple United fans were reacting on X, with comments lauding the clear talent of the youngster.

One fan was left blown away: “His ease at switching left and right is astonishing.”

Meanwhile a second praised his shooting: “Very good ball striking. If he has half the mentality of his father, he’s going to the very top.”

“His ball striking is… wow”, another fan followed up with.

A fourth fan was left convinced after the clip: “He’s absolutely destined to tear it up for our 1st team!!”

Meanwhile, one fan remarked on how crazy it is to see Rooney’s son doing this: “Gonna feel old when Wayne Rooney’s son starts scoring for United”.

What next for Kai Rooney?

Despite being so impressive in these clips, Kai is still only 14, and will likely begin the coming season as an U15 player alongside the son of Michael Carrick.

However with the talent Kai has, from turning 15 onwards, he’ll be fighting to get a chance up a few age brackets with U16 football and even U18 football possible if he impresses.

With all the talent currently at Carrington, including the potential addition of Chido Obi-Martin, Kai has a tough challenge to make it all the way, but he has the best possible role model to help give him the chance of doing so.

It would be poetic to one day see him in the senior team at Old Trafford, following in his father’s footsteps, but he has a long way to go just yet.
